I arrived at 10:45 am to avoid standing in line outside. You could smell the bacon as soon as I got out of my truck! It was a long walk to the Varied Industries building where the Baconfest was being held.

Ahhh, no line!
Once inside they checked id's. This was very efficient. There were twelve lanes set up.

And once you get your ticket scanned, they give you a ticket to claim a "goody bag".
They ask you what size shirt you want and hand you a bag with the shirt, some bacon coupons, 4 food tickets and 1 drink ticket.
Time to grab a beer and head to the nearest FREE BACON!!!

This was bacony chunkalicious! Some of the best chili I have ever consumed!
