Things to do: Baton Rouge & Oklahoma City

Hey all. I'll be travelling to Baton Rouge, LA in late March and then Oklahoma City, OK in early April for training. I'm looking for things to do, places to see, recommended restaurants, areas to avoid, etc. I'll have the wife, 3 year old, and 5 month old along too. The state is paying for a rental car, so we should be able to get around pretty easily. I like to try local beer- so I'll be looking into Tin Roof Beer in Baton Rouge. Any other local breweries or distilleries?

What type of training and where exactly? How long will you be in the area. You're in our neck of the woods. The kids would probably like the USS Kidd USS KIDD Veterans Memorial
In the same area is the Planetarium Louisiana Art & Science Museum
Not sure about distilleries. I keep a bottle of Jack or Evan hanging around the house.
