Backdraft Popper Meatloaf with Rescue Me! Mac 'N' Cheese, Collards and Skillet Corn Bread.

The hot and zesty Backdraft Rub was a complement to the bacon and cherry wood smoke. To my taste it is a mild heat.

The Rescue Rub in the mac 'n' cheese gave it a well rounded flavor. The Rescue Rub is more mild and lets the smokey sweetness come through.

I can't stop opening the bottles to smell them. Maybe they should develop air fresheners with these?

The Rescue Me! Mac 'N' Cheese had just a touch of smoke, as if it were cooked out on the grill. That went perfect with the cheddary bleu cheesiness of the sauce.

If you use the 5-0 rub it gives a BBQ popcorn taste. Use it all the time for that. Not too mention our spices are an Aphrodisiac

I got all my stuff in but I have only had a chance to use the 5-0 rub. I mixed it with ground round and made burgers. It was great! I just ordered a mug too.

I made up a few burgers on my Foreman grill yesterday. The only spice I didn't use was the fireman one. Too hot for my liking (I'm from MN. We consider ketchup to be a spice ;) ). The others were delicious. My favorite so far is the Sea Dog. Awesome!

Had the rescue rub on shrimp and pasta tonight.. 2 thumbs up.. Looking forward to trying the other two

One Steak with IMG Q Rub

These have had each rub applied liberally and wrapped in saran. Sunday they will be grill smoked with apple wood.

5-0 Fries!

Since I am "King of The Chips", I will be using the 5-0 Rub to season the fries.
The potatoes will go through a water/vinegar blanch then a two step deep fat fry that will leave them crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside.
The 5-0 Rub will be applied as soon as they come out of the second fry.

Tomato juice
1/4 tsp Black pepper
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp horseradish
1 tsp hot sauce
2 tsp worcestershire
fresh lime
kosher salt
vodka
carrot
celery
cornichons

Mix 1 Tbsp kosher salt with 1 Tbsp Backdraft Rub

Rub lime wedge on rim of Mason Jar.
Roll edge of glass in Backdraft blend.
Fill glass with ice.

Add salt, pepper, horseradish, hot sauce, and worcestershire sauce.
Fill to one third with vodka.
Fill to 3/4 inch from top of glass.
Garnish with veggies of choice.

I offered the first taste to my gf. She said "Make me one!" I was flabbergasted! She has never had me mix a drink for her. She loved it!
She did not want the veggies or the spice on the rim, so I topped the drink with some Backdraft Rub!
