I prefer Jameson or Bushmills, but whatevah floats your boat, lol.

Jameson & cranberry juice is deeee-lish. I'd love to be sipping some Greek Mastika right now, but I'm all out & can't get it in the states. Pfftttt.

I was told to add 1 ice cube to replace the "angel's share".

    Whipped Cream vodka
Strawberry syrup (grenadine in a pinch)
small strawberry or strawberry slice for garnish

I'd serve this one in a martini glass

If you're drinking a decent malt, then adding ice may make a more refreshing drink, but it will actually dull the taste, adding a small amount of room temperature water will break down or unravel some of the flavours, however, it's an entirely personal thing.

Try a taste treat yourself, taste the same malt straight up, with a SMALL amount of water then with ice - see what you think yourself!

As for ice replacing the angels share - that share is actually spirit which evaporated through the casks ( about 2.5% per year ) during maturation, not water, so all it does is dilute the malt as well as dulling it.

I love Jamesons and Bushmills with ice myself.
A common mistake made when trying to come up with a totally foolproof design is to completely underestimate the innate ingenuity of fools.

The last thing I want to do is hurt you but it's still there on my list of options, so are you coming quietly.........?
