(HNP) Awesome new duty wear from Vertx

Vertx products are designed for people who are looking for a low visual profile combined with the function of a battle garment. Well Vertx®, a leading provider of authentic apparel for the Operational Athlete, has announced the launch of 6.5 Duty Wear shirts and pants. This line of apparel was designed after input from law enforcement officers who were interested in having a cleaner and more functional uniform.
"The law enforcement community encouraged us to follow up on the original Vertx pants with a duty-specific ensemble," said Vertx President & CEO, Bob Getto. "Vertx 6.5 is original and authentic Duty Wear made for Operational Athletes who need to perform at the highest level in law enforcement."

The pants, shirts, and shorts, which are available in Navy Blue and Black, are made of a proven, durable and colorfast poly/cotton stretch twill. Vertx 6.5 features strong patterning and construction techniques. The Vertx 6.5 pant is designed like the original Vertx pants, with the exception of rear pocket welts replacing patch pockets.

The shirts are an altogether new design for public safety, complementing the pants with ergonomically designed chest pockets, articulated shoulders and elbows on long sleeve. A hidden zipper front and zippered storage pockets add to function.
All Vertx 6.5 Duty Wear products have exclusive coldblack® technology from Schoeller. coldblack® makes dark colored apparel feel like light colors in the sun and provides reliable protection from harmful UV rays.
Vertx 6.5 Duty Wear is available through Vertx distributors nationwide. Deliveries will begin in January, 2011. Vertx 6.5 Duty Wear will be on display at the International Association of Police Chief's Conference in Orlando, FL, October 24-26 at the Vertx Booth #2453. I can't tell. Do the pants have sap pockets? I use them for my flashlight.

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

I'd love to have a sap close at hand. I don't know if the bosses want me
having a sap close at hand though
