I'll be in and around Fairborn, Dayton, and Columbus, Ohio tommorow thru the 19th if anyone is near and want to meet and greet. Anyone in the area?

I know there was someone claiming to be a detective on here from Fairborn, but he disapeared from the forums without ever getting verified. If anyone is in the area, let me know. It'd be nice to connect faces to usernames for a few of ya'll. So far I only know Signal_W, MemphisCop, and "Mikey" and the last two are never on here anyway.

Also, i'm looking for a tailgate party to join at the big game if anyone is going. I'll be at mirror lake for all the crazy OSU'ians too.

I won't be able to, even with this weekend off my "off duty Lt" has my weekend booked clear full.

I will tell you that there is going to be a hell of a party at Rooster's Saturday in Columbus during the game. My father and some of his friends will be there. He's a Detective up here at my department.

Thanks Mid, I'll have to check out roosters. My wife is dragging me to captain biff's the minute we get off the plane, she says. No clue what that is. I'll recomend rooster's to her.

I heard on the radio today not to drive a car with MI plates to the game because one would be a sure victim of vandalism.

Senseless crime. Real sports fans riot when their team wins, or in your case... looses. GO BLUE!

I'm probably going to just miss you at this point... I leave here whenever I can get out of work on Saturday (scheduled until midnight, hoping to comp-out halfway through day)... then I have a 20 hour drive to OHIO. I'll keep you posted though.

That whole MI vandalism thing is true. In my 4+ years at Ohio State (few years back now) we saw plenty of "blue" cars upside down and on fire. I will say that Columbus PD sure got to have some fun though

We used to joke when I went there that you had to decide where to park based on who was going to win:

If the Buckeyes lost you didn't want to be parked anywhere near the stadium, due to riots happening immediately after the game.

If the Buckeyes won (like they will on Saturday) you didn't want to be parked off-campus, due to riots happening after everyone gets good and blitzed to celebrate the victory.

And, in the event of a major game (OSU/MI; Championships; etc) you don't want to be anywhere near there period... Ride the damn bus in that case.
