No Autographs Please!!
If you are fans of The First 48 on A&E then you need to watch Episode 55 - Houdini/Innocence Lost it airs Thursday, November 30 9:00pm ET.
The reason you need to watch it is because yours truly will be in the episode. I don't know how big or small my part will be in there, but I had to sign a release so they could use my image and name. Hell they may cut me out all together.
Short story is a gas clerk is robbed and killed. Detectives figure out who did it and we go do an "Attempt Pick-up" on the suspect at his moms house, I think he was 16 or 17. Anyways, we get in the house and I know the mother, I used to deliver mail to her business when I was a mail man and we were pretty friendly with each other then. So she will only talk to me and allows us to search the room, where we found several items that tied him to the crime. We never found him that night but I assume he was finally taken into custody.
I have worked several homicides that have been on The First 48 and I should play a more prominent role in an upcoming episode.

Way to go TV star! How did you know that The First 48 was my favorite show? Hopefully we get to see in this episode that many times it's the street officer that has the "way in" to get the detectives what they need to solve the case. Congrats again!

Awesome! That's a cool show. I seem to flip to it half way through a lot, which drives me crazy since I only want to watch it from the beginning. Bump this thread up to remind us again.
