Work
Well the weather sucks here in my area. I was called in two hours early because we have freezing rain and snow coming in later. Anyone else working in crappy weather tonight?
Being the best is not what always counts. What counts is always trying your best.
Remember who you are, and where you came from. That way you never get a big head.
May those that lost their lives in 9-11 RIP, for the things you did not many could do. You left so many behind so that you could save so few. For now we stand strong as one, and will not look back till the fight is done. (me)

The crappyness isn't here yet!, but will be here tomorrow night and the weekend, just in time for me to get work in it! Woohoo!!
There’s a promise I need you to make
While I’m gone you take care of the love
And I’ll deal with the hate.
Don’t worry about me; I’ll be all right
Just care for your children and sleep tight
I’ll keep you safe on my watch tonight

It Sucks Here.
"If anything worthwhile comes of this tragedy, it should be the realization by every citizen that often the only thing that stands between them and losing everything they hold dear... is the man wearing a badge." -- Ronald Reagan, in the wake of the deaths of 4 CHP troopers in the Newhall Incident, 1970

We woke up to snow yesterday. The Valley is lucky to get snow on the ground once a year, and I've never seen it this early.
Must be all that global warming I keep hearing about.
.... oh wait, the current catch-phrase is "global climate change"
That phrase makes it harder to call bullshit on the scam when we get record lows."I'm not a coward,
I've just never been tested
I'd like to think that if I was,
I would pass"

It's actually rather nice where I am. I just went out and wore nothing but a long sleeved shirt, not even a jacket! However, it's supposed to get very cold very soon!

It was 60 degrees here today and has been like that all month. I don't understand it, usually around this time of year its freezing and the city is buried under snow.
Im not complaining though, I hate winter and am loving every minute of this

Dallas dropped something like 40 degrees in an hour, and we're forecasting freezing rain and/or sleet and snow tomorrow.

The wind was 50+ here yesterday. Temps in the 40's, my body hurts. And to top it off, they are paying me not to come to work.
