Why is that so many guys, LEO's included shave their heads?
Also, many are wearing Fu Manchu mustaches along with the shiny, bald, heads. Personally, I think it looks sharp and told my wife that I was going to do likewise, but the boss said NO!!!

I wear a fumanchu off and on. I have to shave it at least once a month for my National Guard drill. But when my head was shaved in basic training, I discovered I have a point on top of my head. I look retarded without hair.

I don't shave my head, but still have it cut really short. For me, it's personal taste. I think a uniform looks better on a man when he doesn't have a full mop of hair. It looks more professional. Of course, since that is more or less dress code for the military, that is probably where I get that idea from. I've never been in the military, but when I think of how a man should look in uniform, short hair is part of the package because it fits what I see military men doing.

Plus, I hate the hassle of combing my hair. When I cut it short, I just roll out of bed and my hair is good to go.

I'm not shaving my head until I get a lot grayer. My dad was bald when he was 15 years younger than I am now and I don't want to encourage anything like that at this juncture. Besides, the way things are going, it'll just make all this old fart hair sprout faster, and I'm only 52. I'm not old enough for brillo pad eyebrows and fuzzy ears yet.

I wear a "high-and-tight". I shaved my head once, but I don't look good that way, so I grew it back out (on top).

I also don't have facial hair anymore. Too many people complained I was mean.

I wear a high fade. Just a little bit more on the top than a high and tight. As for the ones that shave, either they are going bald or they think it makes them look tough. My opinion.. A hair cut nerver put cuffs on a suspect that was resisting.
