Who's cold??
I dont know about you guys, but it is freezing around here this week.
I just went skiing up at Loveland Pass today (Continental Divide)... it was 1 degree F when I started, with 30-50 mph sustained winds. I think that puts the windchill around -30F. This was around 12,000ft, so down here in the city wasn't quite as bad needless to say. But, still, I had to move some furniture late last night and the temperature must have been about 5 degrees at that time (no wind luckily). All the same, a bad day skiing beats a good day at work
So, anyway, is everyone else stuck in winter? Or is it nice and sunny where you're at?

We were having temps in the 60s this week. As for today, it's been a light rain most of the day and chilly. We are expecting snow this weekend.

A Smile
A smile cost nothing, but gives so much.
It enriches those who receive it,without making poorer those who give.It takes but a moment, but the memoryof it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that hecan get along without it,and none is so poor but thathe can be made rich by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business, and is the countersign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad,and it is nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed,or stolen, for it is something that is of novalue to anyone until it is given away.
Some people are too tired to give you a smile.Give them one of yours, as none needs a smileso much as he who has no more to give.

Just reading your post made me shiver.

It's uncharacteristically warm here, it's supposed to be almost 70 tomorrow but then drop to the 30s tomorrow night.

In honor of the first day of December, it's supposed to drop to 68 degrees. Today was t-shirt weather again. By this time I've generally been able to at least haul out the sweaters. This year, I feel guilty for having a 'just in case' jacket in the car.

Same here, Temps in the Mid to high 60's during the day and in the upper 40's and low 50's at night.
The weather is unseasonally warm and a lot of folks have colds.
I've had a cold since before Thanksgiving and can't seem to shake it. It's good to see you on the board with that great avatar, dancing rose, topped off with a smile.

Yeah, I forgot all you backwoods MN folks like it when it's -45 degrees and blowing snow. You are welcome to come shovel my driveway anytime that you'd like.
It'll probably be a balmy 4 degrees here tonight (shorts weather!!!).
Still, I can't criticize you MN folks too much... I've always been entertained by the accent
