OK, I've taken a step back and looked at the direction in which our country is headed. I don't like it. SO..... I've decided to announce my running for President of the good ol' US of A.

I'll be seeking a Vice President to assist me in getting our country back on track. I am looking for volunteers. Please post a short list of things that you would like to change if you were elected to office.
We have a lot of work to do, so we had better get started. I'll be reading the posts and will soon make my selection for VP, and compiling a list for those in my cabinet, as well as appointing others to various offices.

I will also answer any questions that you may have about my policies.

Regardless who gets appointed where this is what I see needs some "adjusting" in our Government.


Immigration and the border needs to tightened up. This area needs to be like a choke-point. Fencing, more patrols, and tougher penalties for Illegal aliens. We also need to look at tougher penalties for the people who assist Illegal aliens. From the "mules", to employers, etc. I wouldnt be against a temporary guest/worker type visa. But it needs to include something along the lines of tracking devices so they cant just come in and slip away blending in never to be seen again.

Cut back on foreign aid programs. Im not saying eliminate them, alot of countries need help. But our country needs help also, and frankly our money should be spent helping here before its sent elsewhere. That also includes cutting back on "pork barrel" projects. Lets deal with health care, education, homelessness, etc. Before we talk about building a bridge to nowhere in Alaska.

I think there should be a set of universal training standards for Law Enforcement across the country, along with a set minimum pay (set by cost of living and crime rate). So there still will be some differences in pay, but it would be more equal when cost of living is factored in. Any state, county, city dept. can go above and beyond these standards, but lets establish a minimum. If an officer is in good standing but is moving to another state that minimum would follow him. If the new state has standards above the minimum then that officer would need to take those classes only.

I think there should be a flat tax rate. The rich shouldnt get all the benefits of the loopholes so they pay a smaller percentage. If it was a flate rate I dont think it would need to be very big, because more taxes would be collected.

These are just some of the ideas Ive had over the years. I post more later.

Control spending. Establish a freeze on the amount of federal spending, in real dollars (which would actually be a slight cut in spending when you consider inflation). Use the surplus to start paying down the national debt.

Push hard for a line-item veto. It has to be a Constitutional Amendement. Until Congress gets it done, veto any bill with any pork projects tacked on.

Consolidate or eliminate (preferably the latter) redundant federal programs. There are currently 17 seperate federal programs to help kids learn to read. Besides the fact that it's not the government's job, it's retarded to do it with 17 different programs.

Consolidate federal law enforcement agencies. This would eliminate redundant leadership positions and logistical considerations.

Build a wall (not just a fence) along the entire southern border. Use technology to detect anyone crossing or molesting the wall. Maintain a road along the fence to allow quick access by Border Patrol agents. Use military aviation with FLIR to track anyone who happens to get past the wall.

Update the Real ID act so that every state ID indicates if the person is a US citizen or a legal resident alien. No ID shall be given to those who cannot prove legal status. Allow no government services (other than the most basic of human rights) to be afforded people without ID. Establish heavy fines for businesses that hire or deal with illegals.

Put Mexico on notice that the next time somebody in a Mexican army uniform or vehicle fires on a Border Patrol agent, we will attack any and all military positions and personnel within 100 miles of the border.

Ban wire money transfers going from the US to Mexico.

Expand illegal alien aprehension to the interior

Keep the Supreme Court conservative with approprite appoinments

Less foregin aid

Within one year, through talks, solve all issues with Iran & North Korea, if unable, isolate them

Less involvement in foregin conflicts inless mission is humanitarian

Keep an all volunteer better paid professional military

End the good old boy system of apointments

End any government aid to Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson, end their tax free status.

Flat tax, 10%
