Christmas Cheer...
What's your favorite Christmas Cheer drink while sitting in front of a crackling fire in the fireplace, TV or computer on a cold night?
Is it plain or spiked egg nog, hot spiced cider, hot chocolate, coffee, hot tea, iced tea, Coke, Pepsie, glass/bottle of water, beer, hot buttered rum, hot brandy toddy or none of those listed?
Personally, I go for the hot cider with a cinnamon stick, or a cup of coffee.

Jingle bell, jingle bell
Jingle bell rock
Jingle bell swing
And jingle bells ring
Snowin' and blowin'
Up bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun
Jingle bell, jingle bell
Jingle bell rock
Jingle bells chime in
Jingle bell time
Dancin' and prancin'
In jingle bell square
In the frosty air
What a bright time
It's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell, time
Is a swell time
To go glidin' in a
one horse sleigh
Giddy-up, jingle horse
Pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and mingle
In a jinglin' beat
That's the jingle bell rock

Ill have a blue christmas without you
Ill be so blue just thinking about you
Decorations of red on a green christmas tree
Wont be the same dear, if youre not here with me
And when those blue snowflakes start falling
Thats when those blue memories start calling
Youll be doin all right, with your christmas of white
But Ill have a blue, blue blue blue christmas
(instrumental break)
Youll be doin all right, with your christmas of white,
But Ill have a blue, blue christmas

Hot cocoa, made from scratch on the stove, with a healthy dollop of Godiva Chocolate Liqueur. Sip while snuggled under the blankets with someone warm and accomodating.

A Smile
A smile cost nothing, but gives so much.
It enriches those who receive it,without making poorer those who give.It takes but a moment, but the memoryof it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that hecan get along without it,and none is so poor but thathe can be made rich by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business, and is the countersign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad,and it is nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed,or stolen, for it is something that is of novalue to anyone until it is given away.
Some people are too tired to give you a smile.Give them one of yours, as none needs a smileso much as he who has no more to give.

Matter of fact, opening my presents DRUNK AS A FUCKING SKUNK on Chrismas morning sounds like fun for the whole family. That brings up a good question......I grew up in a household where we were allowed to open one present the nite before and then the rest on Christmas morning. My wife thinks that's crazy as well as a lot of my friends. Is that crazy? I dunno. Sorry to change the subject but I'm going on 39 hours with no sleep.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. - Leo Buscaglia

As a child, all of our gifts came from santa, so santa did not come until we all went to bed and were sound asleep. So we opened no presents on Christmas Eve.
Now that I'm an adult, when my children were very young kids we opened presents on either Christmas or Christmas Eve.
I invested in Santa coming to visit our home so Santa could give the presents. The kids would open the presents from Santa on Christmas Eve and then the rest on Christmas morning.
The santa visits stopped once my kids stopped believing in Santa. When the kids started to ask questions about Santa, I put Mom on the some of the labels. So that way they could open the ones from Santa and mine were opened with the other gifts that arrived by mail that were not labeled Santa on Christmas morning.

My family did the same thing. I also have always let my kids do the same. After all, Santa always brought the good stuff on Christmas Morn.
Oh yeah, I have a Michelobe lite right here if ya want me to share!
