My Local Paper on Letterman
Our local paper made david Letterman. In our local paper they usually have stuffers in the middle which are ads for local stores.
One of the people at the paper was quitting the paper because he was angry and he slipped this in the paper
It was an ad for pineapples. it said Fresh Fucking Pineapples. It was great. It was also the first time in history that the paper sold out!

Is there any special properties to these pineapples? Maybe this guy knew something no else did.

A bit more about the story. The guy who owned Sparkle market is very Religious. It was a BIG Deal around here. I think 3 people at the paper lost their jobs and now I think sparkle gets free adds!

after the incident they still advertise in the paper for free of course. But the pineapples are advertised "our world famous pineapples"

That's funny. Only time I can remember us making the talk shows was on the Tonight Show when our fine city "legalized" marijuana a couple years back... It isn't really legal, but popular opinion tries to pretend it is, and they got a laugh out of it on the show. Originally Posted by Reca
