What career would you want if not your current one?
What career would you have now if you hadn't been able to break into your current career back when you were first trying to enter the field?
What career would you pursue if tomorrow you learned that you would be fired from your current job and would be unable to get hired in the same field anywhere else?
Are you planning to pursue another career after retiring from your current one? If so, what would it be?
What career do you fantasize about entering?Last edited by Jenna; 12-12-06 at 08:24 PM.

I would have gone on to med school.
I'd either go to med school or take sufficient coursework to become certified as a pre-k teacher. What career would you pursue if tomorrow you learned that you would be fired from your current job and would be unable to get hired in the same field anywhere else?
Not really another career, if I do work at that point it would probably be as a consultant in my field. Are you planning to pursue another career after retiring from your current one? If so, what would it be?
Of course. Are there careers other than your current one that you fantasize about entering?

Seriously, I would be either a helicopter pilot or else a body guard for famous folks. My life has been truly fucked up at times, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's been a wierd, wild and fun ride. Thank you God.

I really would consider being a porn star. Or a Golf course manager and then work into ownership, but I'm still leading toward porn.

I think I'm blessed to have the job I have.
But, if I had to do something different, I think I'd like to be a firefighter. I'd rather be a paramedic, but I can't handle needles.
And when I get done with LE, even though that's a LONG way away, I'd like to own a bar/restaurant. Maybe with a law enforcement theme or something. That'd be cool. Have a lightbar over the bar, tin signs, PD decals on the walls, maybe a couple big frames with patches in them.
Patrons could get wanted posters made with their faces on them, cops eat free...that'd be awesome. No one has greater love than this, to lay down ones life for ones friends - John 15:13

I always had so many dreams..things I would have LOVED to have done if I'd had more time...if there were more of me.
I wanted to go into the Navy.
I wanted to be a doctor or nurse.
I wanted to be an EMT.
I wanted to go into LE.
I wanted to be a archeologist.
I wanted to be a writer.
I'd pursue writing full time...or look into the editing/journalism field.
I don't know...I kinda agree with that porn star post....there HAS to be something said for getting paid to have sex. WHOO HOOO! JK
At this point and time in my life, I want to write full time, and still be able to pay my bills. There's NO money in writing, unless you are Stephen King level.
