Where did you go for New Year's eve dinner?
Where did y'all go for New Years eve dinner?
We went to a new restaurant which just opened in town, called Carrabba's Italian Grill...Mmm, Wow!! it was GOOOOD!!!
Everything is prepared on the premises and the Best crusty bread, (dipped in olive oil and spices), I've had in a restaurant.
I had scallops, shrimp and mussels with pasta, covered with a medium hot marsala sauce.
What did I have to drink?...Ice water with a slice of lemon.
I usually order ice tea but I've had too much caffein today and I would like to get a few hours of sleep tonight.

Papa John's just delivered the pizza. Now I'm debating whether to fix a margarita, or pop open a longneck. Decisions, decisions. . .

Walgreens - picked up some chips and candles.
Luckily the power came back on a bit ago. 23 hours down - not bad. Especially with so many others still in the dark.

I ate at a little cafe on the coast. I don't remember the name. The pizza was good, but the service left something to be desired.

Made taco soup.
Then went to the local taven for New Years.
They had food there, too.
Drank too much....danced too much...
2:30 am...and now I'm waiting for my son to get home from his NYE...which he just did.
Time for bed.
Glad to know your power's back on, BEB.
Happy New Year's, everyone.phoenixrose~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We had a quiet, intimate evening.....candles, firelight, champagne....special snacks (One of is a great cook ..not mememe
)...we watched a comedy...cuddled on the couch...then off to bed to await the bells, whistles and fireworks
at midnight...
Now, we are just lounging round....waiting to get started with the traditional NY day meal....

Ahem,..Chips and candles don't sound like much of a meal. Now that electricity has been restored, call out for a large deluxe pizza. It's on me.
