You never seen that before? I have heard it called a fairy ring. Has no refrence to Tony, more to the Druids/Tuatha Dannan. I have found that snow normally follows that ring though.
And Shepards we shall be,
for thee, My Lord, for thee,
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy Command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls will it ever be.

Nope. But my parents told me they saw it in NY earlier.
And Shepards we shall be,
for thee, My Lord, for thee,
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy Command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls will it ever be.

Ring around the moon means rain/snow.

We got enough snow on New Years Eve
But I've seen a moon like that before and it really is quite pretty to see.

I see it fairly often, relatively speaking. It's breathtaking. And yeah, here it generally means you're going to get cold rain.

It is spectacular, but I hope it doesn't mean snow!

After you mentioned it....I did look Reca....and yes...it was bright alright. In fact, so bright my normal "hiding spots" had me lit up like a Christmas tree!

This morning, about 7am, as I was driving to work, the moon was a gorgeous sight. It was riding low on the western horizon, with a dark lavender-blue sky behind it. The lavender-blue faded into a pinkish color, and than into pale blue-gray.
Looking at a full moon, across a field covered in snow, with the stark skeletons of trees against that backdrop, was like looking at a picture postcard. I wanted to stop and take picture....but I didn't have a camera, and I was running late.
It was breath-taking, though.phoenixrose~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

No, ring around the moon means the fey are making magic.
Ring around the collar means you need to wash your nasty clothes, or stop wearing them so many days in a row. (guilty of this one)
It was a very beautiful moon last night.
