Congrats LEF
I see that the record for most users on line at one time has been broken today.

Does it count if most of them are Yahoo Slurp Spiders?

DOH, I hadn't noticed that was public. I was wondering the other day if spiders were crawling here too as I had ten from MSN show up. Creepy little buggers.

The Spiders are yahoo programs that search forums and other sites and cache them for searches. That way if someone searches for something, and it has been mentioned here, it might show up on a yahoo search. As far as I've figured out. But then I don't know crap

I guess this explains some of it.

Here's an example of how Yahoo inadvertantly pumps up site egos (like mine) - the Yahoo Slurp robot program accounted for 94.5% of my site's visitors yesterday. Doh!
Browser Usage
Yahoo! Slurp (94.5)
Internet Explorer 6.0 (2.7)
Firefox (1.3)
Internet Explorer 7.0 (0.9)
Safari (0.4)
Googlebot (0.1)
Other (0.0)
Internet Explorer 5.0 (0.0)
Stupid Googlebot, get to work!

Thanks to our new MySpace LEF page, the bots are eating up LEF lately, saving our threads, to add to their search engines, which in turn, gives us free advertising thru their search engine. It's a win-win for both of us.
Though we've had our share of bots, we've also seen a significant increase in guest traffic, thanks to the new LEF MySpace page.Last edited by Terminator; 01-14-07 at 01:06 AM.
