Who gained weight over the holidays?
So, who put on extra pounds during the holiday season, from Thanksgiving thru Newyear's day?
And, do you intend to keep it on, lose it or add a few more pounds to keep it company?
I gained about 10 pounds, even though I swore I woudn't. But, with all the turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing and gravy, macaroni and cheese, sweet potato souffle, pumpkin pie, apple pie ala mode, fruit cake, etc. I just couldn't resist.
I intend to lose it, but it's gonna be tough.

Ok, so just before thanksgiving I'm all happy about losing about 18 lbs. So right after new years, guess what? I found most of them. Dang it. By the way JLK, that Brazillian Steak House by the Peabody kicks butt! Cost an arm and a leg though.

I actually gained some weight over the holidays. Lucky for me it was only a few pounds and I lost it already.
At 54, I agree with jmur though, I weighed in at about 128 lbs when I was 18 and went into the Corps at 21 and gained about 20 lbs. After boot camp, I dropped back own to about 140 and have stayed fairly constant for the last 25 years or so. I actually got up to 144 over the holidays, but already got back to 142.
I don't understand the weight loss issue. Gain a pound- lose it; it's easy!
