Images?

How do you all put the images into your sig lines?

I have tried the old [IMG] way, but it aint working.

Uploaded a 149x100 image of 11kb size to test ...

Ok - gotta upload an image of the proper size.
Then click the text reading "insert signature picture"
Enter url pointing to picture inside the (SIGPIC][/SIGPIC)
*brackets changed to parenthesis so the text would display*

I'm sure there are simpler ways to explain, but that works.

Yep, that's it.

Instead of [img][/img] use [ sigpic ][ /sigpic ] without the spacing.

I'm getting three different error messages.

1. Invalid file.
2. This is not a valid image file.
3. The BMP has the incorrect file extension.

Btw, I'm using the same picture, but with different extensions. I am sooooooo computer illiterate.

What picture are you trying to display? It looks like it won't take the bmp extension. Can you post it or PM with it and let me play with it?

Yep, it let me save it as a jpg. Let me see it that works? Mine's a gif. I might need to change the file extension.

I changed your's to a gif. extension. I also was able to save it as a jpg. extension.

Try the .gif first.

Then just enter the code (brackets without the spacing and the words SIGPIC.

I tried to upload yours to my signature and I can't right now. Only allows one picture and I don't know how to remove mine. It says mine is in use. So, I have to figure out how to remove it. I think I might have to turn off my signature to remove it. But, I don't want to keep playing with it right now because I need to get ready to go to work and I won't be home until late tonight.

The signature permissions are:
Allow [IMG] Code No
Can Upload Images for Signature Yes
Can Upload Animated GIF for Signature Yes
