Who likes to cook?
Who's an amateur/Pro chef and likes to cook?
I enjoy cooking and like watching the food channel on TV. I pick up a lot of ideas from Rachael Ray, the Barefoot Contessa, Paula Deen and others. Just got through cooking dinner and will have curried chicken and rice with baby limas, tossed salad and rolls.
Hope it's fit to eat.

I honestly don't much care for the women on the food network. Anthony Bourdain and the guy from "Good Eats" are more my style.
And I'm sure it's just fine, Estada.

A Smile
A smile cost nothing, but gives so much.
It enriches those who receive it,without making poorer those who give.It takes but a moment, but the memoryof it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that hecan get along without it,and none is so poor but thathe can be made rich by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business, and is the countersign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad,and it is nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed,or stolen, for it is something that is of novalue to anyone until it is given away.
Some people are too tired to give you a smile.Give them one of yours, as none needs a smileso much as he who has no more to give.

I love Alton Brown! I love the cast of his show too - especially the food anthropologist! I saw him live, and he's a hoot in person too.
Julia Child has been my idol since childhood though....more so since I read her biography and her memoirs (courtesy of her nephew)
It's not just that I love to cook, but I love to entertain. I collect recipes and cookbooks. I used to be part of a "dinner party" club, and we would take turns planning and preparing a special meal for each other - it was lots of fun!

I can and do love to cook, especially southern cooking (Paula Deen style). Only problem is I have very little time. In fact, the son is doing dinner tonight. Like others here, I love Alton Brown... he's so down to earth and funny, too! And Barefoot Contessa... while many of her recipes are out of my league, I like her style.

I used to love cooking, then I had kids.

Nothing spoils a good creative stint in the kitchen like hearing, "You want me to eat THAT? Gross!" Last year they came up with the ultimate Mom torture - both kids turned vegetarian.
I blame the liberal indoctrination they are getting from the public school system.

I love to cook. I think my best dish is babyback ribs with barbeque sauce made from scratch. My other favorites are pot roast, roast chicken, chili, and smoked salmon.

The extent of my cooking is grabbing it from the freezer, poking a hole in the plastic, and putting it in the microwave for 3 minutes.

I can cook those frozen pizza pops, and things that don't need any preparation. That's about it.

I love to cook !!! Cakes, desserts and petit fours are my specialty.
Cidp24 does all the grilling as well as the "down home cooking" and everything he cooks is GREAT. He is a little heavy handed on the spices. His blackened rib-eye is better then Emeril's. ( I have indigestion for a week, from the spices, but it is well worth it) His cornbread is perfect everytime."Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History"
