    Oral review board today

    I just wanted everbody to know I went through the oral review board with a department today that I'm trying to get on at. They told me they would let me know in a couple of days if I advanced to the next step. Wish me luck guys. I've got to get out of this deparment and fast. Its went down hill fast since our chief died in July.

    Here's an update guys. Got a call today from a friend who works at the P.D. I'm trying to get on at. He said I'm in the final three. Next step is I take the written exam next week.

    I just wanted to give everybody an update. I took the written exam yesterday, passed with a 90%. One of the candidates didn't show up. I heard he got his ass kicked while on duty and was in the hospital, but I don't know. The other guy graduated the academy in May and hasn't worked in law enforcement yet. I've got 3 years with my current dept. I believe the next step is I meet with the chief and he makes the final decision with the ok of the city administrator. I'll let you guys know more when I hear.
