Halftime Show Poll
What did everybody think of the halftime show featuring Prince? I thought it was absolutely terrible. Somebody I watched it with even stated that they thought it was "the worst Superbowl haltime show they've ever seen!"

Half-time shows are a waste of time, every year. At least Prince didn't feel the need to expose himself.

I thought the Super Bowl was last weekend.
Yeah, football isn't my favorite.

A medly of Prince's Greatest Hits wasn't exactly enthralling, but the two dancers in black weren't bad. Too bad the camera didn't focus on them more.

I always thought Prince sucked, and wait he still does.

I didn't watch the halftime show. I watched the pants off dance off.

I only caught a few minutes of it, and by superbowl standards I thought it was, well, okay. I thought the Rolling Stones (last year?) were absolutely terrible.

I was stuck on a radio in the back corner of the floor, and couldn't see any of it - plus I was too busy.

It was absolutely awful! Why the hell would you have Prince as your halftime show? Do they try and get the worst possible halftime acts? Don't they know what their audience wants?

What does the audience want?
Pop musicians bore me, pop musicians who last saw the fading light of their careers when I was in Jr High doubly so.
I switched over to the Puppy Bowl, but if they had percussion and brass performing I'd have watched the halftime show.
What would you like to see as a halftime show?

I am not a Prince fan...or the artist formally known as Prince, however, I do have an appreciation for all kinds of music/performances.
I am sure the rain complicated things somewhat, but I'm sorry, I was totally unimpressed. For what I'm sure they paid the man, I think we could have gotten a much better show. JMHOphoenixrose~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It reminded me of the Harley Davidson 100 year celebration in Milwaukee. The headliner was supposed to be a big surprise. I'm thinking Metalica, etc., right??

WRONG ! !
This was the headliner ---

WTF?
It makes me wonder if these entertainment gurus even think about who the audience is

I work in the Milwaukee area and the inside scoop for the HD 100th was that the Stones were supposed to play. Apparently The Edge and Larry Mullen from U2 were spotted milling around during the festivities. Even they would have been better than Sir Elton! Even without Bono and Adam!

I watched knowing it would be a waste of my valuable time. However, I wasn't disappointed. Why? Because I knew they (whoever puts on these shows) would give me exactly what I knew I would get... NOTHING! Like I always say, "Maybe next year they'll get it right!"

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought it was terrible. I've never been a fan of Prince, but I was definitely expecting a better show than that!

The special effects they had were ok, I liked the marching band with all the glow and the dark stuff on, but then again I'm easily amused. Overall though, I don't like Prince and thought it sucked.

Last year's performance by the Strolling Bones set the low water mark. This year's ... uuh ... performance by Prance was about one notch above it.
I did truly enjoy it once I fell asleep. It wasn't loud enough to wake me up. Wife was sweet enough to awaken me once the third quarter started.Anything posted here does not represent the opinion of any agency anywhere ever.
