    I am beside myself....:(

    For about two months I have been trying to get a hold of a friend of mine that I have known now for 20 years...

    (I am sorry if this is in the wrong place)

    When I lived up in NC for almost 15 years, He and I were like brother and sister and we saw eachother every day almost... we were there for eachother through relationships and life...
    He is a huge reason I was strong enough to go be a police officer and I was one of the reasons he went to be a dr...(he kept his leo status part time)... anyway....

    I have known he was getting married shortly and wanted to offer him my beach home here in florida for his honeymoon...

    I also wanted him to be involved in some plans I have going on in my life..

    The last I heard from him was Dec. 3 he called me drunker than shit and left me his usual lengthy message.... I was asleep and have tried to get him back since....

    His girlfriend finally called me.... and told me he died....

    I am beyond myself lately and miss him so much.... I never thought this would happen to him of all people and he was so young.

    He passed away during his sleep and didnt die in the line of duty or anything... Let me tell you this guy loved being a cop... He wanted his ashes put into bullets... that kind of cop....

    I feel so lost and for any who may know me... I dont have any family but my mom....
    Troy was my best friend and my brother... LEO and not....

    Just in case you all wondered maybe why I havent posted much...

    Ive just been really sad...
    busy with work yes... but that is to keep myself busy...
    but really sad because being here reminds me of him and his love for this job.

    I need to shut up now and stop rambling....

    I hope you all can say a prayer for him or whatever you do....

    I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear, close friend Troy. I well definitely keep you, his girlfriend, and his family in my prayers and thoughts.
