Need some help ...
Hey gang....
I have the book "On Combat" by Grossman.... but haven't had time to finish reading it.
Anyway...I need a quote from the Sheepdog anylogy that is in this book for a school paper, and don't know where in the hell (err...in the book I mean) to find it!
Can anyone at least point me to the right chapter or something??
Thanks!Stupidity Recognition Technician

Interesting read. Saved to show to some bleating sheep I know
"This business of being a sheep or a sheep dog is not a yes-no dichotomy. It is not an all-or-nothing, either-or choice. It is a matter of degrees, a continuum. On one end is an abject, head-in-the-sand-sheep and on the other end is the ultimate warrior."
If I must be a sheep...

I also highly recommend another Grossman book, On Killing. A must read for Police and Military. It deals with the mental and emotional aspects of the taking of human life.
