What noise annoys you most?

Iam sitting here at the dining room table and my daughter is eating cereal. We have another snow day. She is slurping and slurping and making noise that annoys the heck out of me. Not her fault BUT I HATE that noise AND the noise when watching t.v and they seem to turn up the 'pouring a drink' noise. I HATE THAT it grates on my nerves.

nails on a chalk board, or silverware screetching on a glass plate.......it drives me nuts!!!

A plastic spoon scraping on a styrofoam(spelling?) cup. If you are eating ice cream and the spoon scarpes the bottom of the cup. I can't stand that!

Hate the word "Irregardless" People, this is NOT a word.
Irregardless is considered nonstandard because of the two negative elements ir- and -less. It was probably formed on the analogy of such words as irrespective, irrelevant, and irreparable. The alarm system we have on our digital cameras at work, you just touch one of the cameras and the damn thing goes off. It makes me wanna strangle the closest person to me.

All of the commercials on TV show people with no manners eating. They slurp Gobble Drip etc etc and then act like this is the norm. People in restaurants wearing hats. Saying "you know" constantly while talking. Ebonics. and the list goes on. Must be my age.

When you're in a really quiet place, like the other day when I was at the library, and the person next to you keeps sniffling. I mean I can understand you can't help it when you're sick and a little bit is ok, but this chick was like snorting, and choking, and making weird whistling noises with her nose. AHHH!!

Also, I can't stand repeating things. I don't know why, but if you sit there and say the same thing over and over and over again I go nuts. So songs that repeat a lot, annoy the hell out of me.

Finally, when you're listening to someone talk, and you pick up on the fact they say um a lot and then all you hear is the word um like every other word.
