New job update
Well I met with the Chief on tuesday. He gave me a conditenial job offer. Conditenial on whether or not I pass the psych eval, worksteps program, and doctor's physical. If I pass all that I'm in. With everthing thats going on in my current department it will be great to get out of here. We had a officer arrested last week for patronizing prositution, while on duty. Not to mention the fact that the new department is the one I've wanted to work for since the academy. Wish me luck on the rest of the process, and I'll give a update as soon as I know more.

Worksteps is kinda like the physical agility test for some departments. They take blood pressure, heart rate, check your spine, reflexes, stuff like that. Then you do job specific stuff. Lifting things, running up stairs, climbing ladders, pulling a 165 lbs sled. I did that today. I don't have the results yet. I'll call the cheif tomorrow and check. All thats left know is the drug screening, doctors physical, and the psych eval. Everybody keeps telling me I won't pass the Psych eval because I'm crazy, but I'm not worried about it. I'll keep you guys updated. BTW thanks for all the kind words.
