im going to patrol!!
ive just been informed im finally being pulled from dispatch and will be moving to the patrol division on either mon or tues night! yay! i've been waiting for this day for months now! if any of you guys have any advice,comments,suggestions or anything let me know! i will take all that i can!

What Jmur said.. plus:
As a female patrol officer (especially a rookie), the guys on your shift are going to hover over you protectively for a while. This is normal, and can be frustrating for you. Just remember that they do this because they care that you're ok. It is not intended as an insult to your ability to hack it out there. Take it as its meant. Watch the more experienced officers on the street and learn their good habits, you'll do fine.
