Shotty Class
Ok... Here's some fun.
Tuesday and Wednesday I had Shotgun training. 150 rnds in 2 days. 50 on the first day and 100 on the second. I ended up scoring 100% on both courses of fire and the final drill was "Multiple Threat Acquisition". With a "Cruiser Safe" weapon and 6 extra rounds fire on 3 targets as many times as you can as they are facing. I got all 12 rounds off in about 9 1/2 to 10 seconds.
The instructor was impressed and told me that I need to come in to get my pistol scores high enough to become an instructor myself."Where's your towel Arthur?" -Ford Prefect

They called and said if you want to be an instructor you must report March 17 for all day training - you better be there! No alcohol is to be consumed that day, for safety.

Actually Virgin, I'm already pulling duty on the 17th. There are "supposed" to be "10,000" protesters coming to my jurisdiction. I'm already on the wagon for St. Patty's. At least until the assholes go away.

I'll be with the smaller counterprotest group, supporting the veterans who will be standing by each of the war memorials. It's the least I can do for those the memorials are meant to remember.
