A little tacky in delivery, but in the right context, makes sense.
And Shepards we shall be,
for thee, My Lord, for thee,
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy Command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls will it ever be.
In Nomine Patris, Et Filli, Et Spiritus Sancti.

How you package it does not change what is.
Truth.
We are the thin blue line
between you
and all the money in the world.
And no you can't have any.

Tell me not, Sweet, I am unkind,

Of thy chaste breast and quiet mind
To war and arms I fly. - Lovelace

We dallied under
Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
But instead
Found blackberry riots and
Desiccated branches
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
Skunk cabbage
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion

As a descendent of a Cherokee squaw, I agree 100%!
The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government.

That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants.” – Jeff Cooper'

The truth is sometimes a painful thing to swallow.
"Sometimes people need a little help. Sometimes people need to be forgiven. And sometimes they need to go to jail."

Playing the "Devil's Advocate," how advanced would this country have been had it not been for the European invasion? The big difference between today's illegal immigrants and the European "illegal immigrants" is that when the Europeans "invaded", they brought advances in technology, medicine, housing, transportation, agriculture and hunting. I'm not condoning the methods used to deal with the native Americans, but comparing them to today's illegal immigrants is comparing apples to oranges.
For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.
Winston Churchill

Hell, we invaded to get it, and now we're being invaded... It is what it is.

If you want a good book to read, I'm working on Pat Buchanan's "State of Emergency". Excellent read on the current "immigration" situation in the US right now.
The views expressed in the above post are the sole opinion of the author and do not reflect any official position by the author's employer and/or municipality.

The best thing about Pat Buchanan is....he has nice socks.
He used to make sense in the 80's and early 90's, but in recent years he's been off the reservation loony sounding. Either I changed or he did.
Please finish the book and catch his current commentaries and let me know who is the insane party.
BTW, I never ran for president. Just saying...
