Grilling season is here..
It is probably 70 degrees today and ALL sunny. Good enough for a 75 mile motorcycle ride and to clean my grill.
What do you guys do to clean the grill after being cooped up all winter in a cover and being covered in snow???A monday morning lunatic, disturbed from time to time. Temporary catatonic madman on occasion..
Lightning crashes a new mother cries, her placenta falls to the floor. The angel opens her eyes, the confusion sets in before the doctor can even close the door..

Try Easy-Off for cleaning the grill. They may even have an Easy-Off grill cleaner.

Well heres what I do.
If your grill has the removable plates (section where the food sits on), remove them when you put your grill up for the year. Scrub them really well with a brillo pad and something scratchy ( I use Bar Keepers friend) and let them dry. Once they are dry, I put a garbage bag around them and then put them back in the grill.
That keeps them clean and gunk free over the storage months. You have to wait to put them in the garbage bag until they are dry otherwise they will start to rust on you.
If you havent done that, I have found it easier to go buy a new section instead of trying to clean up the gunk from the winter. Now if your grill is pricey and you cant repurchase the grill section, use any brand of oven cleaner, they work well or if you are trying to avoid lots of spray chemicals, get a rotary grill brush, some warm water and some sort of comet type cleaner and you will be fine."Sometimes people need a little help. Maybe go to a BBQ speciality store and see what they recommend.**********************

The best way is to grab a beer. No grab a 12 pack and then have your wife or girlfriend clean and watch. No one cleans better and no one supervises better than a man. lol
