I am born and bred,southern La. we live around our meals,they are family affairs ,and entertainment as much as anything.Others (read Yankees) treat a meal as nourishment and that is it,in the South it is a social affair.You go to bed thinking about how good that meal was and how you can make it better(not allowed if it was "yo mommas" recipe),and wake up asking whats for supper tonight.
