identical twin criminals--ever encounter them?

Have you ever encountered someone you thought was a criminal only to find out that it was his/her identical twin that actually committed the crime? Or vice-versa--have you had an identical twin claim to be his/her innocent twin? Or do such things only happen in the movies?

About 15 years ago or so two of my distant cousins were involved in a case of mistaken identity. They were both criminals actually, but one (Donald) was found dead and was identified as his twin brother (Ronald - or maybe it was vice versa). I think it was several days before the mistake was discovered. We didn't know anything about it until we read it in the paper.

I had a case about 4 years ago with a set and they would use one name when they would go to jail and the other the rest of the time to avoid the warrants. When I finally figured out what was going on and knew I had the right brother (after the one who's real name was clear moved away and cleaned up) the other ended up with 15 Felony warrants on top of the 7 felony charges I had on him.
