There are still honest people in this old world...

My mother and I flew in to NYC landing at LaGuardia field on Long Island. While enroute to eastern LI in a rental car and about 40-50 miles out on the Island my mother said, where's my purse? I quickly pulled over to the side of the expressway and checked the interior and trunk of the car, but to no avail. Since she had almost a thousand dollars in cash, a check book and a couple of credit cards in the pocket book, she was on the verge of panic. I knew it would be a miracle if a purse, loaded with money and other goodies, laying on a seat, in one of the world's busiest airpots were to be turned in to lost and found, but turned around and headed back to LaGuardia. Upon arrival, I quickly went to lost and found and to my amazement someone had found the purse, turned it in to lost and found and didn't leave their identity or any Info. whereby we could call, thank and reward this good and honest person.
It's reassuring to know, that there are still a lot of honest people in this old world and they can be found in places where you'd least expect to.
