Hyper links are part of the web structure. Some people get grumpy about sharing their bandwidth when you link to images they're hosting on their sites though.

This is where the PSA comes in. When this gentleman saw an image from his site was being used on a remote site he asked for suggestions how to prank the image squatter.

Goatse was suggested. If you don't know, be glad. A number of other famously offensive images were also suggested along with 8000x8000 image size pranks.

In the end, he chose this. Funny and tasteful.

Not everyone gets off so lucky.

I'm guilty of linking from remote sites from time to time. This reminded me to only do it with news sites.
