Deviated septum
Anyone ever had the surgery for this? I had it about a year and a half ago. Now, I feel 50 times worse. I literally dont breathe out of my nose any more. It affects my sleep big time. I sleep literally 12 hours a day and wake up tired. Severe SLeep Apnea!!
Anyone else have complaints from it?

Had it along with sinus surgery, but my experience is just the opposite. Maybe your doctor just sucked.......

I have never had it.(But i think i need it. My nose is a little crooked from being broken when i was in high school.) My aunt had the surgery a while back. Her surgery went great and she has had NO problems with hers! I personally want a little bit of plastic surgery on my nose because I think my nose is still big from it being broken. LOL OWELL. I hope I do find a doctor that does a good job and mine doesn't get worse. Good luck with it! I have heard all good things about the surgery for a deviated septum!

Had the procedure done in 1996, (nose broken 3 times prior to that). I had the 'windows' opened in the sinuses as well. Everything went perfectly for about 6 years, but I have had some sinus problems since.

sounds to me like you need to go see a specialist and that your surgery was a bit messed up?
I broke my nose 3 times and go tthe surgery and have been good since.

Crash, I was having bad sinus trouble and went to a specialist last year to have my septum checked out. The doc told me that it was fine and gave me some nasal spray with steroids. It helped some, but I quit taking it so I would not create a dependency or have any long term problems from the steroids.
Long story short, I quit drinking coffee and I am almost 100% better.
It's a long shot, but thought I'd pass it on just in case.
Doesn't help living in the desert either. A humidifier might help.
You probably could rule out environmental if you didn't have as much problem when you visit/visited your hometown.
