Been gone for a while
Hey everybody! I just wanted to let all of ya'll that i talk to on a regular basis know that I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately. I have finished all of my finals (I did really well this semester in everything). Now, its time for summer school and my externship program. I HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED TO THE
CARDIAC SURGERY INTERMEDIATE UNIT
for my program! I start on Monday..... I'm asking for prayers from ya'll! I know this will be a great experience for me

05-06-07, 01:07 PM #14jrae GuestI get paid $10.50/hr for my externship. I will have the majority of the responsibilities of a nurse, and I will have a nurse I am partnered with on my floor to keep an eye on me. I don't think you get paid for an internship. Originally Posted by 213th

You're correct, jrae. I should know since I start my Human Services internship in the Fall. I'm hoping it will lead into something permanent at least on a part-time basis. BTW, congratulations on a job well done. I am finishing up with my finals as I write this. I have about three weeks of rest and relaxation (if there is such a thing) before I start summer class, too.
