Vacation spots..
Is there somewhere that you absolutely love going to and staying there for vacation? How many times have you gone? Big vacation plans this year?
As for me, I love going down the shore, preferrably down at Ocean City, NJ. I love it there and will be spending a week there this summer. I have been to Myrtle Beach, and although I found it to be extremely beautiful, there are NO boardwalks!

There's a place on the southern coast of Georgia that I love. I haven't been in a few years, and probably won't for some time, but I absolutely love it. Extremely relaxing, the people are nice, just great all around.

Cancun, Mexico. After going there for my honeymoon, any other beach looks like a dirty lake or something. Clear water, white sand, awesome places to stay, not too expensive aside from the plane ticket, and the Mexicans are 100 times more friendly than islanders (Bahamas, etc).

If I get a vacation I think I'll go see Mountaincop, and check out the turf. Then find some small mountain towns with microbrews/restaurants, and old shops and just spend the days being dumb. That won't be too hard for me.

Maui Hawaii.... This is where I usually stay. www.kapaluavillas.com
Been there about 10 times. Been to lots of other places but this is the best & one of the few places I care to visit other than the north shore of Oahu. No place compares to Maui.

Disturbing how many fail to mention outside America. Is this purely because you dislike the alternatives or distance/price restraints?
Personally I loved S Africa, Australia and Estonia. Africa is number 1 at present for my retirement however my next big trip is gonna be around S America.
I generally use Spain as a geteaway purely because we have a place there and flights are cheap outside of the high season.
