Diaz DiMayo
Today,you will notice me posting a lot cause I am not allowed out of the house by my family,it is what we call Diaz DiMayo (May 10 th).Why house arrest?Why did I take vacation days? Consider the following,the first list is things that have happened to me on May 10 in various years,the second list is things that happened in May period.
1)My parents were married on May 10
2) My parents divorce became final on May 10(24 years later)
3)My mother died ---May 10
4) I broke my leg (3 places) May 10
5)I was discharged (Honorably) from the Army-May 10
6)I graduated my first accademy (Police) on May 10
Second list
1)daughter born May 28--(supposed to be May 10 but she held on and had to be induced)
2)First wife died suddenly -May 13
3)etc etc.
Get the picture??There are more that are a bit lesser in quality but never the less still life changing/altering.
I was wondering if anyone else has similar days???

Nope, don't have much like that myself.
The closest thing to it is August, but that's been all great, and not terrible luck like yours.

June is my month, heres the list.
1) Grandfather retired from PD in June
2) Father born in June
3) Mother & Father married in June
4) Grandfather died in June
5) I was married in June
6) My son was born in June
7) My sister was born in June
Mother & father divorced in Oct after 15 yrs, I divorced in Oct after 5 yrsJust because your sign off after you're shift is done, doesn't mean that it's over and put blinders on. You're a cop 24/7 wether you like it or not. If thats something you can't handle, you should find a new line of work!

Just an update,I Made It
Nothing more than a slight burn taking a ham out of the oven.Now I think I will take Dapples to the gulf coast for the night.

More to the point, they deposit a surprise beside the bed. Doesn't happen often at all, but the first time it happened, hubby's ex jumped from a moving car and Dunkin Donuts didn't give me a spoon to stir my coffee with. I'm not sure what's worse. Originally Posted by Virginian

Thank goodnes I didn't see it before Dapples and I left for the coast,I did pretty good at the casino till Daps told me about Virgins post and all hell went down hill,(I am still up,($) but not near what I was).
