Police Property Room!
Hey, just wanted to let everyone know on here about a site i just found out about.
www.propertyroom.com
Police departments that gather evidence througout the years, put the unclaimed, or solved cases that had evidence, or theft related, non-claimed cases, on this site and auction them off to make money for there department.
Some of you may already know of this site, but figured theres at least one person on here that has'nt.
i just checked it out, and seen cruiser cages, light bars, cd players, all kinds of different stuff.
This could be useful to a department that is looking for police related stuff for their department at a cheap cost.
This site is open to the public, very similar to Ebay!
Hope this helps someone out.YEAH, IM THE BERRIES, AND CHERRIES IN YOUR REAR VIEW MIRROR.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
Eat it, Play with it, or piss on it, and walk away!

I'm kind of creeped out by the tool section, you know the knives, saws, etc. Lol.

I've bought items on the site for over a year now. Thanks for posting it... now I have more competition bidding!!!
I've bought laptops, pocket pc's, palms, watches, cell phone accessories, tools. Low cost because few knew about it...until now!!!
One of my buddies was purchasing bikes for will call in Los Angeles, picking them up and selling them at swap meets for 1000% profit! I wish I was day staff to be able to do that also!
If you're bidding and see "chknhawk" had placed an earlier bid that's me (my call sign in the Marines!).

I guess I have to explain how I got my call sign.
On a counterdrug mission, we used cartoon characters as call signs. Alot were assigned due to our personalities. Names used were scooby, foghorn, silver surfer, papa smurf, and of course... chickenhawk.
He was the hawk in the foghorn leghorn cartoons that was short, I'm 5-03, and as a Gunny always agressive. I didn't find out the other meaning until I got into law enforcement! damn...

It doesn't seem to be working...

WOW
Hey K-9Max, Thanks!!!!
I just won a used Dell Wireless CDRW DVD Laptop Latitude D600 Computer, guaranteed for 30 days against defects by CSR, 1400 MHz. Processor with 30G hard drive & Windows XP Pro for
$250!!!!
Even used/refurbished laptops like this usually run around $400-$500.
NOTE - Not all of their laptops are guaranteed, some are obsolete, and some are missing hard drives, batteries, operating systems, chargers, etc, which can be expensive to buy - Read carefully!!!
I was just real patient and kept bidding $300 for every Dell guaranteed laptop I saw - I lost about a dozen auctions before I won this one. But even at the prices these have been going for (around $370), it still sounds like a good deal.
I'll let you know how it works when I get it

Weren't these objects once owned by criminals? Who knows where that stuff's been, or what ghosts, demon-conjuring powers, and bad karma are attached to it!

No, not these - These are sold by CSR, which is a computer vendor. They have a eBay Store rated 99% at http://stores.ebay.com/CSR-Technologies - Those prices look just as good.
The Property Room partners with vendors as well as having evidence for sale. They say that these laptops are from a "corporate environment". Maybe Enron???
I think the merchandise that's in poor condition, missing parts & operating systems are more likely to be from evidence rooms.
They're probably either trade-ins from where some big corporation upgraded, or returns from people who decided they didn't like the computer for some reason (not necessarily because it has a defect, but could be). Kinda line CDNN Investments down here, which buys trade-in pistols and magazines from police & other sources, and resells them at a discount.

A lot of that stuff was NOT previous evidence. You'll notice a button on their page where you can search only police auctions, if you want.
Our PD just got hooked up with these guys, but we have no stuff on there yet.
