    Appraently it was cleared up...luckily, or i'd have to take that Sgt out into the garage for a little "Conference"... he must've ben filling in since we have Lt's on the desk normally... Damn youngsters.

    How come they put Lieutenants & Sergeants on the desk? Do they need tactical expertise to answer the phone? Hire a temp for $8 an hour to answer the phone, and kick the brass back out on the street where they belong

    Negative...they really DONT belong out there....the jump from Sgt to Lt seems to cause a short somewhere in the cognitive areas of their brains..they would be DANGEROUS on the street. Besides..having Lt's answer the phones means that there is a minimum number of positions necessary...,meaning that there HAS to be promotions made to keep the TO filled
