wedding songs.....any ideas?
Hey everybody....jrae here. Well for those of you out there agree that I should marry Term, this is thread is for ya'll. All of you people on LEF are very important to Term and me. Our friends on LEF have been there with us to share our stories. Most of you have learned how we met, read about our car wreck that we amazingly survived, have been here to support us through our healing, and have offered us such wonderful friendships. All of you have impacted our lives just by being here on LEF offering words of support and encouragement throughout everything. I have been thinking, and I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions for songs for our wedding/reception..........that includes anything in the ceremony, the dance with my dad, the dance for Term and his mom, and our first dance together....etc. You get the idea. Well if you have any suggestions.......please post a response. We would love to hear what ya'll have to say.

Frank Sinatra has a whole slew of great songs that are great for wedding dances. And Shepards we shall be,
for thee, My Lord, for thee,
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy Command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls will it ever be.
In Nomine Patris, Et Filli, Et Spiritus Sancti.

Sorry, had to! I'd contribute real ideas, but I'm more into rock and less into anything that would be appropriate for a wedding.\\` ` ` ` < ` )___/\

The 2 soundtracks from Sleepless in Seattle have some nice songs.
My only advice on the "dance" songs, is if you pick a slow one, pick a short one.Molly Weasley makes Chuck Norris eat his vegetables.

My wife and I didn't have music at our reception for lots of reasons - and, no, her daddy's 12 gauge pointed at me wasn't one of them!- but if we had, that would have been on my playlist for it.
