Did You Ever?
Did you ever decide to go thru all your crap?
And you decide your bed makes a great sorting table?
And you make it thru everything that either needs to be tossed, donated, shredded, or has a place to live when your done?
But you still have a whole bunch of odds and ends all over your bed?
And now it's time for bed, and your bed is covered with all this left-over crap, so your gonna end up with a box of stuff that you still need to find a place for someday?

Every time I tidy my bedroom I go through that. You'd think I'd have learned better by now.\\` ` ` ` < ` )___/\

I just throw it all up in the air and run around in circles screaming. Then i stand there awkwardly for a minute, make my bed and go to sleep.

The middle of the living room floor is good. So when you don't get finished and go to bed and leave the crap there it stabs you in your feet when you get a glass of water at 2 a.m. In the dark of the place

Doing that chore past few days. It helps to have help, someone that is ruthless when it comes to junk, "when was the last time you paid any attention to that?....etc" and they toss it in the trash w/o asking. The pack-rat's nightmare.
The 3 pile method works well, however the "keep" pile seems to grow all by itself....really.....(whistle, shuffle, don't make eye-contact, swear on a stack of ......)Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Oh wait, what was the question??
Oh... yeah. I do that (did this past week actually). Then I shove it all onto husband's side of the bed or off onto the floor (still on his side of course).
