LaPlace, LA is a little bit safer now.
LaPlace, LA is a little bit safer now.
After much coaxing and down right threatening. I have gotten my disabled mother to finally stop getting in a car and driving.
She should not have been driving 15 years ago. She can barely walk or stand, and she can't do this without a walker or cane.
Last year her license was renewed for I don't know how many years, I was astounded, how can this happen? Don't they see, that she can't walk? What is up with that?
Her doctor didn't want to "hurt" her feelings by not signing off on a paper that secured her ability to drive.
I know that there are thousands more like her, but now there is one less to worry about on the road. Just trying to safen my section of the world. If the grass is always greener on the other side, stop pissing on yours.
