Bad luck??

A friend of mine in Michigan had an accident at work a few weeks back and needed 15 stitches in her leg. She just got over it and decided to visit her best friend in Florida. They bought passes for Disney World and when she got off the plane she had some chest pain. She's now in hospital with plurisy. I just can't believe her streak of misfortune.

I know bad luck comes in waves, just wondering if its swamped you like this??

Wombat, good luck to your friend. I wouldn't wish medical problems on anyone. May she have a speedy recovery!

As for me, bad luck (or whatever you want to call it) has swamped me since May 11. Stuff just keeps happening. Autumn is right, when it rains, it pours.

All I can say is never take anything in your life for granted.

I always feel like I'm being swamped with bad luck, but I think it's just that after the first crappy incident the other things that follow bother me more than they would otherwise. Like dropping my cell into a bowl of water after finding a nail in my tire.
