I don't touch coke but I found this very interesting.

Water or Coke?

Could not believe this..... Very interesting

WATER

#1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated.

COKE

#1. In many states the highway patrol carries
two gallons of Coke in the trunk to remove blood from
the highway after a car accident.

#2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of Coke
and it will be gone in two days.

#3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the
toilet bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour,
then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes
stains from vitreous china.

#4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers:
Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds
Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.

#1. the active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid.
It will dissolve a nail in about four days. Phosphoric
acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major
contributor to the rising increase of osteoporosis.

#2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup! (the concentrate) the
commercial trucks must use a hazardous Material place
cards reserved for highly corrosive materials.

#3. The distributors of Coke have been using it to clean
engines of the trucks for about 20 years!

Now the question is, would you like a glass of water or Coke?

Sure can screw up car floor boards.

Coke is as strong as some of the chemicals they use at my husbands work to take rust off of WWII aircraft. You know if it can take rust off of an airplane that has been buried since the WWII war, than ya kinda get an idea what it can do to us.

Mythbusters tried almost everything that you mentioned with coke. and found them to be false

#1. In many states the highway patrol carries

I dont know why they would do that, at most car accidents big fire trucks come and they have hoses with alot of water.

no it wont, it will make one hell of a marinade

False it didnt and clean road haze from your windshield... you would then have to clean all the sugar residue off your windshield after you were done

I think y'all have tackled the Coke issue enough. I think most of that water stuff is BS. I ride a bike for a living and if I drink too much water, I have to pee ever 30 minutes. And yes, you can drink too much water a die (it's rare, but it happens- happed to a Police cadet not too long ago, IIRC).

Thirst is often mistaken for hunger- it has nothing to do with a "faulty thirst mechanism". That's why when you are stranded (or on a diet) and get hungry, it's important to drink a lot of water to maker sure your body isn't giving off false hunger signals.

Yeah, the sugar versions sound like a mess. I ran out of windshield wash one bug splattering summer night though and the only thing I had with me was Diet Pepsi. Worked at least as good as regular window wash (and better than straight water).

I wish I can be as strong as you. If it wasn't for soda I'd prolly be at 10% body fat instead of 25%. I try and stick with clear soda tho. The dye in the non clear soda (pepsi,orange, rootbeer, coke...etc) can fuck up your system.
