    UFC 73

Anybody watching it? I am having a couple people over, kind of a routine now. Heres hoping Tito Ortiz shuts up Rashad Evans
500 fights, that's the number I figured when I was a kid. 500 street fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate tough guy. You need them for experience. To develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then, after, you realize that's what you are.

I'm with you there. How did it go? I was at work. How did Nate Marquardt do against Silva?? He fights out of Denver...my shift partner trains at his dojo. Pretty fucking cool to train under a UFC fighter! He says he's about the nicest, modest guy ever. I was hoping he would do well.

NOT WELL..Tito fight was a draw, weak as can be. Nate got TKO'd in the first.

I never liked him...and he looked bad in the fight, IMO, at lease up until the last seconds of the last round. Tito looked equally as bad, dummy would have won if he would have just let go of the cage. Almost makes me wonder if he is just playing out his remaining 2 fights till his contract is up. I reallythought Hermes could hang with Sherk, but no dice.

I was bummed it was a draw.....
and tito can shove that two sided mexican/american flag up his asshole.

that is sort of a hot button for me and I have no respect for someone who has two flags over his shoulder. Pick a fucking country....

um but thats just me lol

I had to work and missed it. Sounds like I didn't miss much though with the Tito fight, oh well...

First fight was pretty good when Heath Herring knocked MR Pride Fightings star fighter Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira on his azz with a kick to the face. Heath flubbed it up when he didn't keep attacking Nogueira in a ground and pound. I did feel that the ref Yves Lavigne should have stopped that fight because Nogueira was taking unanswered blows for awhile. I thought Lavigne should've stopped the other fight he reffed too for the same reason, unanswered punches.
