Another music thread
Name the first album you ever bought.
Album for those under 30 were made out of vinyl and were easily scratched. They contained up to maybe 12 songs and could NOT be taken from home to car to listen too, one needed to actually RECORD an ALBUM onto a Cassette tape which one could then IF owning a car with a casette player take from home to car and listen too...
My first 2 albums ever purchased were.....
The Beach Boys Endless Summer
The Who Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy {which might go down as one of the best titles ever}A monday morning lunatic, disturbed from time to time. Temporary catatonic madman on occasion..
Lightning crashes a new mother cries, her placenta falls to the floor. The angel opens her eyes, the confusion sets in before the doctor can even close the door..
The views and comments of E-man are mine and mine alone and therefore might not reflect the views of others or people in my current department. As such since this is still America I can post what I want without fear of retribution. I think.
RIP Eric

Just because your sign off after you're shift is done, doesn't mean that it's over and put blinders on. You're a cop 24/7 wether you like it or not. If thats something you can't handle, you should find a new line of work!

Bought with my own money? Probably one of those Ronco Greatest Hits albums.
I begged for the Jesus Christ Superstar cast album (the very first one, with Ian Gilliam singing) and Cat Stevens Teaser and the Firecat for Christmas the year they came out. I was teased because we didn't even have a stereo to play them.
I got the albums, and a little portable record player from Santa.

I think it was Kiss - Destroyer. That was one of the first I remember anyway, because my parents hated it.

It wasn't a full album, it was a single. "Jessie's Girl" by Rick Springfield.
