Best Movie Ever

I just got done watching 300 for the 12th time. I love this movie!!!

Anyone else like it?

My favorite part is when Leonidas throws his spear at Xerxes and grazes his cheek.

Another one is when that politician is exposed for rape when the queen was trying to gather support for her army.

Definitely an addition to any mans video library.

You guys all need to google "300" and watch some of the movie trailers.

The movie is about the Army of Sparta numbering 300 taking a stand against the Army of Persia numbering over 1,000,000.

Definitely not a gay movie by a long shot, unless you are talking about the King of Persia.

I've only seen it once, in the theater, with a close friend of mine and his son, shortly after it came out back in March. It must be out on DVD now. It's definitely a guy movie, don't think the gals will like it much since it is about a war.

Good flick. There were wayyy more than only 300 combatants against the Persians (they did not reveal that in this film).

If it were 300 on an open battlefiend against nearly a million then that would impress me but a million troops bottlenecking into a small mountain pass is easily defended.

It is like you and 5 buddies locked and loaded sitting inside your living room whacking everybody who comes in the front door.
Hell there could be 5 thousand outside and as long as you had ammo you could hold out.

As far as the quasi-homo-erotic films go it only had a touch of gayness.

I give it 2 thumbs up though for renting.

Leonidas was a 5th century B.C. Spartan military king who bravely led a small force of Greeks -- mostly Spartan (the famous 300), but also Thespians and Thebans -- against the much larger Persian army of Xerxes, at the pass of Thermopylae, in 480 B.C. during the Persian Wars. According to Herodotus, Leonidas had been warned by the Delphic oracle that either Sparta would be destroyed or their king would lose his life. Leonidas chose the second alternative.
All the Spartans and Thespians died, including Leonidas, although Herodotus says the Thebans had never wanted to be there and surrendered when Leonidas was killed. The Persians mangled the corpse of Leonidas.

I thought it was a great movie! I've read the graphic novel, and thought they really captured the style of the art work.

I didn't think it was out on dvd though....Sapper? You don't have a pirated copy, do you?

The queen has a great rack...therefore, its gets the offical Hawk "thumbs up"

I dont get to the cinema much, but I went for this film. I thought it was very well done. A good addition to any dvd collection.

I don't think it's pirated but if it is it's hard to tell. I picked it up in mexico last week. It's clear not grainy, fuzzy or blackend. Has the FBI priacy warning the whole nine yards. Paid $25 for it.

Either way it's awsome I just got done watching it again.

What my client meant to say is he was given an advance copy from the The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. His comments on the film are based on that pre-retail screening copy.
