VICTORIA Beckham says there were so many important tasks to do preparing for the move to Los Angeles - finding a mansion, a school for her boys and a manicurist.

She also jokes she can't be seen to ruin her image by eating in front of the media.

"I don't want to be seen smiling, having fun or eating. Perish the thought," she says.

The Spice Girls pop star, one half of Posh and Becks, stars in a special prime-time documentary Victoria Beckham: Coming to America tonight in the US.

The NBC fly-on-the wall, one-hour reality program details Victoria's move to Los Angeles with her soccer-playing husband, David Beckham, and their three sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

Victoria, who is entertaining and regularly pokes fun at her excessive-slave-to-fashion reputation, says when she watched some of the footage she realised she was "actually nuts".

Victoria reveals the Beckhams were "so excited" about the move, adding "what better place to bring the children up than LA?"

She adds her sons think they are going to be living in Disneyland. A make-up artist agrees, and says "well they are, pretty much".

Victoria chimes in: "No they're going to be in la-la land, there's a difference. La-la land is much more designer."

The couple are settling into their $27.5 million mansion in Beverly Hills near friends Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

Beckham has been outfitted with his new number 23 jersey for the struggling Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team.

Paparazzi are in overdrive.

"I'm actually nuts, you know. I watched some of the footage back and I realised that I thought I was actually really normal but I'm quite eccentric," she says in a special online interview to promote the at-times hilarious program.

One of Victoria's biggest challenges is getting her driver's licence.

Posh is horrified after preening and primping to realise she doesn't get final approval over her driver's licence photograph.

"Oh, no, my hair looks flat, can I do another one? You don't do retouches?"

She then takes to the roads and is pulled over by police. After stepping out, she says "I was completely shocked and devastated because I was wearing flat shoes".

Since the media invented the term "celebutante" ... which should actually be "spoiledslut".

I never heard the Spice Girls' alleged "music", but its amusing that they chose made up names for themselves. I couldn't decide if I liked Skanky Spice, Slutty Spice or Sleazy Spice better.

My guess is that the soccer team will fold and they will head back to Jolly Olde England. There's nothing in our Constitution that says every wierdo on the planet has to stay in the U. S.
