So I told my boss about a dream I had.
Don't worry, it's all good. Once you see what his reply was, you'll know why.
I told him that I dreamed about pulling a very specific person out of his car at our checkpoint and beat the crap out of him. This was about 4 years ago after he had severely pissed me off.
My boss' reply? "Yeah, that seems fair to me!"
I think I'm going to go to bed now and see what else fucked up I can dream about. I told somebody here about one of my more fucked up dreams. She can attest to how fucked up some of them really are!

I also had a dream where I was... uh never mind. Forget I even said anything.
Ah what the hell. This dream was a few years ago, like when I was 16. I was walking down the road when this van pulled up and opened the side door. Then a hot lady jumped out, pushed me to the bottom the ditch and then started making love to me!
Sometimes, I have some normal dreams. Sometimes they are really fun too!

I've had lots of weird dreams too. I never had them until I became a Swon Officer. From that point on they have been crazy.
I used to sleep with my sidearm under my pillow (Holstered) I kept having dreams where I would be involved in a shooting and couldn't pull the trigger I had to use 2 hands.
I woke up gun in hand one day
, since then I moved it under the bed
I used to have dreams of getting shot too. Not sure why
Maybe it was stress?
Just because your sign off after you're shift is done, doesn't mean that it's over and put blinders on. You're a cop 24/7 wether you like it or not. If thats something you can't handle, you should find a new line of work!
